Joining Clarity: Protecting the Future of Digital Trust

I am not sure there is a way to fully express how lucky I feel right now. Lucky to have had the privilege of choosing between several amazing opportunities, and even luckier that one of them stood out so clearly.

Several months ago, I met Michael, a young and ambitious founder working in the deepfake space. What started as a simple conversation quickly became something more meaningful. I realized I was talking to someone who is not only very smart and ambitious, but also multi-talented, deeply connected, and above all, a golden-hearted individual.

One of the things that struck me was his ability to be opinionated and critical in the best sense of the word. He was thoughtful, well reasoned, and insightful on almost any topic related to entrepreneurship. Just as important, Michael has a true and complete growth mindset. This became very clear to me. Together with his talent and ambition, the sky is the limit for him.

After almost 20 years of building startups, and more than 6 years of running nSure.ai from 0 to 1 and then to scale, I could have easily said that I have seen it all…
And it would probably sound convincing.
But after meeting Michael, I realized that I have not seen it all just yet!

Why Clarity

I am beyond excited to share that I have partnered with Michael Matias and joined as the CTO of Clarity, a mission-driven company set to redefine how we protect businesses from the next wave of cyber threats.

After years of building payment-fraud technologies that safeguard tens of billions of dollars worldwide, I believe we are now at a pivotal inflection point. The cyber and fraud landscape is transforming rapidly. AI-powered digital impersonation attacks are becoming the new frontier. Social engineering is evolving into hyper-realistic deepfakes, synthetic identities, and malicious video content crafted with dprecision to deceive and disrupt. These threats target not only consumer trust but also the security, reputation, and very existence of businesses.

At Clarity, we are leveraging the most advanced deep learning and generative AI technologies not just to keep pace but to stay ahead. Our vision is clear. We aim to build intelligent defenses that can detect, interpret, and neutralize emerging AI-driven threats in real time before they impact businesses and consumers. This is not just about cybersecurity. It is about safeguarding the very fabric of digital trust in an era where reality itself can be fabricated.

What excites me most is the convergence of AI innovation with human ingenuity. This synergy allows us to decode complex attack patterns that traditional tools cannot. Clarity’s technology will empower organizations to navigate a world where malicious content can be crafted and weaponized by anyone with access to generative AI tools.
This new journey is about tackling that frontier.

I am inspired by the incredible ecosystem backing us. I am excited, grateful, and humbled to begin this new chapter.
